The elegant and versatile Series 7 chair was introduced in 1955 by the Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen and instantly became an iconic design.
The Series 7 chair achieved global recognition after its debut at the H55 exhibition in Sweden in 1955 and it is by far the most sold chair in the history of Fritz Hansen.
Very comfortable bentwood seat shell, the chair's unique ergonomic shape is achieved through a single piece of pressure-molded veneer for the seat and back, made from 9 layers for strength, flexibility, and durability.
It is characterized by its timeless and versatile design, feature a distinctive curved back and a waterfall seat edge designed for comfort, emphasizing practicality alongside its elegant form.
Will looks absolutely wonderful in any period or style environment and among mid-century classic design.

Specification:
Shell is made of 9 layers of pressure molded natural veneer, with 2 outer layers in natural ash.
The swivel base is made of 14 mm chromed steel tubes and 5-wheel castors with aluminum caps.
