Vintage Classic L. Hitchcock Turtle / Pillow Back Stenciled Slat Back Farmhouse Dining Chair with Rush Seat. Features hand painting and stenciling by rubbing a bronzing powder into a tacky finish coat, the sculptural curved back splat depicts an Eagle with wings spread and is marked on the back of the seat "L.HITCHCOCK. HITCHCOCKSVILLE. CONN. WARRANTED." (With all N's backwards) and manufactured by the renown company of L. Hitchcock of Connecticut .
