A fine English double secretary bookcase of mahogany from the late Georgian era, c.1780, featuring a crown moulded top with two astragal glazed doors, each side opening to four long adjustable shelves.
Set upon a bottom tier with a faux drawer fall with embossed leather writing surface, enclosing a cabinet with fitted cupboards and drawers, over two cupboard doors opening to a three sliding pull-out gallery shelves, the whole with original brass hardware, and standing on bracket feet.
