Hand-engraved with intricate leaves, flowers, and a Gothic “B” initial.

Stamped on the underside: “Sterling Silver – SGS Co – Weighted.”
This mark identifies the Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company of Newark, New Jersey, active circa 1900–1930, known for producing fine decorative hollowware in the late-Victorian and early Art Nouveau styles.

The vase stands 12″ tall, about 4″ across the top and 3.75″ across the base, and weighs 315 grams (11.2 oz) total. Using a standard formula to approximate the non-weighted portion, the estimated sterling content is about 241 grams (approximate only, not guaranteed).
