This sort of pottery is indicative of the playfulness and tradition of mid-century Italian ceramics. These are the most fun..... and look so good with other Mediteranian cabbage ware and garden style pottery.

Meiselman was a Mid-Century New York based import company. They had a great deal of important ceramics pieces made under their name. They used several artists with varying styles, but this artist (see signature) made a line of Elephants, Wild Cats and other Chinoiserie that trumped all, uniquely fabulous! See less
