A bold and abstract mid-century composition, painted in oil onto board.

This painting is composed of large, solid blocks of colour and thick, expressive brushstrokes. While not realistic, it suggests a natural scene, perhaps a sunset or sunrise over hills or a valley.

The upper half of the canvas is dominated by a clear, bright blue that could represent the sky. There is a large red circle positioned in the top right quadrant – this striking element resembles the sun or moon, radiating a powerful visual presence, anchoring the composition.
