Not sure on the wood, but not overly heavy like maple or mahogany.
Possibly pine or mixed woods.
Originally it had a small pole, front to back for hanging, but as it's only 16" deep a pole & shelf were added across to hold more.
These have not been stained.
The top plinth, center area, & drawer are 3 separate pieces which makes it pretty easy to move.
The extra ornate top front piece, 9" high, has not been re attached.
Needs a few screws & the bent nails removed.
A glass knob was added to the door (we have the original lock that will be included).
The depth is 18 1/2" at the top. See less
