This Pair of Louis XV Style Carved Walnut Banquettes with Tufted Silk Upholstery is a beautiful expression of the allure of 18th-century French furniture design that captures the details of the Rococo era --will add poise to eclectic and traditional interiors and spaces.
Hand-carved walnut frames
Hand-carved floral cartouches on each apron
Upholstered in soft and luminous striped silk
Generously tufted and cushioned seats and had-applied corded trim outlines
Slender cabriole legs terminating in whorl feet
Good vintage condition with modest evidence of use consistent with age. Silk shows subtle wear, with minor fabric impressions, faint surface irregularities, and minimal frame touch-ups. Wood frame has developed warm and age-appropriate patina .
