Vintage, Mid 20th Century jewelry or keepsake box inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Handcrafted by artisans. The intricate design is created by hand-inlaying hundreds of small pieces of mother-of-pearl into wood. Round with a slightly domed lid, brass hinged with working inset brass key lock. The interior of the box is lined with red velvet.
