An important Louis XVI walnut cylinder desk.
It opens with 16 drawers plus the cylinder.
The interior features drawer compartments and a sliding writing desk covered in original green braided leather.
The cylinder uprights are rounded with serrated fluting.
Brass-plated rod ornamentation.
Fluted and serrated spindle legs finished with bronze sabots.
Blue turquin marble top.
Oak sash.
Walnut back.
Locks and keys.
Early 19th century.
Knobs and rear entryways.
