Crafted in France circa 1870, the antique piece features a gracefully arched frame, hand-carved with twisted ribbon moldings and a delicate beaded inner trim. The richly detailed crest showcases a pair of lovebirds nestled among flowering branches and wheat sheaves, a charming symbol of abundance and harmony, all highlighted by a beautifully aged gold leaf patina.
Standing nearly five feet tall, this generously scaled mirror is ideal for placing over a mantel, in an entryway, or as a dramatic focal point in a powder room or bedroom. The original wood-paneled back and antique mercury glass add authenticity and depth, with gentle signs of age that enhance its storied character.
