Note the background of concentric circles....an Art Deco hallmark in the finish; each side has a different floral arrangement.

What a fabulous Christmas Gift! Most likely from the mid-20th Century. Perfect for a sunny, cozy home.

The Vase features 2 handles and a calming blue background that fades from a deeper shade at the base to a pale blue at the rim, a variation on the "Bermuda Blue" color theme introduced in 1946. The delicate raised lily blooms appear in contrasting shades of yellow with light green foliage and stems. One side has a pair of Lilies, and the other has a single longer stemmed Lily with a delicate curved leaf. The glaze has a soft, unreflective matte finish, which gives the piece a subdued and earthy, yet elegant, appearance.


The overall design has a distinctly stylized, organic, and mid-century feel and is considered a "late period" line.

The bottom is marked "Roseville", “USA," the shape number (133), and the size (8 1/2") In good to very good condition. See less
