The writing table is trimmed with gilt brass throughout, and the tapered legs are capped with gilt bronze feet. Four dovetailed drawers with working keys and locks offer ample storage for this sophisticated yet practical desk. The top is covered in a red leather writing surface embossed with a gold leafed frieze. Two pull out leaves are also covered in leather for additional working space. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition. See less
