An elegant Biedermeier table from around 1850 with a hinged mirror and divided drawer. The interior is also lined with fine gray marble. This versatile piece, standing on small casters, is suitable as a dressing table, sewing table, or occasional table and impresses with its clear design language – simple elegance through the front columns, clean lines, and its versatility.
Material: solid cherry wood, interior marble, mirrored glass.
Dimensions in cm: H 77 (closed) / W 60 / D 42.
Origin: France. Originally used as a sewing table or dressing table with a mirror and storage space, it now serves as a stylish side table, dressing table, or a charming piece of furniture in the hallway or bedroom.
Features: Empire/Biedermeier, circa 1830-1850 – the simple, functional forms, supporting columns, and reduced decorative elements are typical of the period. Internal compartments in the drawer for small utensils.
Original mirror glass and the gray inset marble inside – both with age-appropriate patina and signs of use.
Condition: Good, refurbished and well-maintained, age-appropriate and charming signs of use (marble interior with fine cracks).
