Luminous sculpture of the Space Age era
André Cazenave – "Moon Rock" lamp, designed in 1969!
For collectors and lovers of iconic 1960s designs: André Cazenave's "Moon Rock" lamp is far more than a light source – it is a luminous monolith, an organic sculpture, and a symbol of Space Age design.
Designed in 1969, the year of the first moon landing, it perfectly reflects the futuristic spirit of optimism of this era. Crafted from a special fiberglass and marble mixture, when switched on, it emits a soft, moon-like glow that immerses rooms in an almost meditative atmosphere.
Each lamp is handmade – slightly irregular in shape and surface, making each lamp unique. It was produced by Atelier A and Singleton (Italy), among others. The lamp offered here was manufactured by Singleton and bears the manufacturer's sticker on the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
