Rosewood has a rich reddish brown color which is pretty and warm. The stools are made in segments and joined together with special joinery. The cabriole legs are carved with sprigs of plum blossoms and a bird. The apron is also heavily carved with flowers. These stools are a departure from the barrel shaped stools. The stools here are ornately carved versus the simplicity of the barrel stools. The rosewood is a heavy wood and the stools are sturdy. See less
