A set of vintage Frank Gehry for Knoll "Hat Trick" dining chairs. This stunning artful furniture designed by Frank Gehry and produced by Knoll features a bentwood construction with a ribbon-like design. They are inspired by Gehry's childhood, specifically by the apple crates he would play on as a child and their surprising strength and resilience. These gorgeous pieces of furniture feature white maple veneer strips, glued and woven together. The maple has been colored a deep black verdigreen color, unique from the usual Gehry chairs seen. Each chair has embossings of the Knoll name and Frank Gehry's signature on the underside, as well as the date noting 1993. The whole set is in very good condition.
