A striking vintage ceramic bowl by Hasle Keramik, crafted on the Danish island of Bornholm, renowned for its mid-century studio pottery tradition. This piece embodies the quiet strength of Scandinavian design, simple, functional, and timelessly elegant.
The bowl features a robust cylindrical form with thick walls and a dark, lustrous glaze that shifts between espresso brown and near-black tones under light. The interior reveals a subtle speckled texture, typical of Hasle’s hand-thrown stoneware from the 1960s–70s.
Stamped “Hasle / Made in Denmark” on the base, this piece reflects the era’s balance of utility and artistry. Perfect as a centerpiece, fruit bowl, or sculptural accent in a modern or wabi-sabi interior.
Crafted by Hasle Keramik on Bornholm, Denmark, this stoneware bowl features the signature dark glaze and pared-back form associated with Scandinavian design of the era. Marked “Hasle” and “Denmark,” it carries the weight, quality, and character collectors love. An excellent addition for those who value well-made, mid-century ceramics.
