Artist Frederick Cooper Lighting has a 100 year history of quality craftsmanship and amazing designs. Cooper was a Chicago artist that was enamored with electrical lighting in the early 1920s when only about half the homes in America had electricity. He started producing beautiful lighting to rival Stiffel Lamps who dominated the American market. Cooper lighting was more ornate and artistic using more unique materials and his artist background. They became pieces of art. He eventually sold to. Russian artist but the company is still highly respected as a premier lighting option. This Chandelier is from the 1970s. It features black tole metal with five large chandelier shades. The metal was hand-painted in Italy with gold harps, tulips and laurel leaf branches. The design is Neoclassical and French Empire but will also mix well with an Arts & Crafts decor. It was assembled in the USA
We are featuring a collection of MAD ABOUT MOD Furniture and Home Décor on our front page. We have wanted to showcase our modern pieces for a while and as the weather turns cooler, we thought this was the perfect time as you look to add Fall refresh pieces to your home. Don’t tell anyone, but we are also launching our vintage jewelry and accessories collection at the end of September. It will be a soft launch, so you will want to ‘cherry-pick’ the best pieces before the big launch in November. Finally, we are also going to mix in some of our fabulous holiday collection as the seasons unfold. We sell more holiday items than any shop on Chairish.
