Roy Lichtenstein ( 1923 - 1997 ) the American born Pop artist of a Jewish background, is one of the most well known and loved worldwide Contemporary artists. During the 1960's along with Andy Warhol among others, he became a leading figure in the new Pop Art Movement. His work defined the premise of Pop Art through parody. Inspired by the comic strip, Lichtenstein produced precise compositions often in a tongue in cheek manner. The artworks of Lichtenstein are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print framed Pop Art exhibition poster print measures 28" W X 27" H X 1 3/8" D.

It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed beveled detailed lemon yellow matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
