'King David' by Reuven Rubin is one of the works made for his lithographic series depicting the life and times of King David. Rubin himself lived an amazing life, at one time becoming the first artist to hold a solo exhibition at the Tower of David, he was elected chairman of the Association of Painters and Sculptors of Palestine, and won himself many awards through his lifetime.
