The top has a shallow routed … Read more This large handsome chest of four equal depth hand-cut dovetailed drawers is perfectly proportioned. The top has a shallow routed step down. The top drawer stands slightly proud of the other three and is flanked by elongated pyramid appliques. The reduction in depth is occupied by split columns topped with composite capitals and block bases dressed with shorter applied pyramids. This chest has lovely even color and only small knots and is hand-polished to a warm golden glow. See less
