Beautiful brass hardware with a rich dark stained wood and dovetailed drawer fronts. Original top would have been leather, now gone; minor restoration to match the wood top to the rest of the chest. Drawers are solid and sturdy, each labeled on the bottom with a letter (I, J, K, L) to mark their position in the chest - though each drawer would fit into any position, this little addition by a previous owner could be a help to keeping things organized! This piece has the perfect balance of form, patina, and function, ready to use as a stylish side table or nightstand in a small space or place on top of a desk or table for extra organization.
