This pair of mid 20th century Chinese Famille Verte porcelain vases represents a continuation of the centuries-old tradition of enamel-painted wares, inspired by the celebrated Kangxi period (1661–1722) of the Qing dynasty.
Each vase is hand-painted with intricate floral decorations in a vibrant palette of green, red, blue, yellow, and purple enamels. The characteristic green (“verte”) is particularly dominant, giving the set its iconic name. Both vases come with their original lids, which are rarely preserved together.

Condition:
