This pair … Read more A pair of vintage drum-style wooden side table bases which have been topped with artisan made mirror tops. This pair of side tables feature new artisan made 27.5" round-shaped antiqued mirror tops, each with a verre églomisé gold sunburst at center, which rests upon wood drum style table bases, with oval entwined carvings about their perimeter and thick molding at top and bottom areas. The gold verre églomisé star, is artfully crafted to show patina, with remaining glass having an antiqued finish. Verre églomisé, a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. The bases have an ebonized finish over brown color. The mirror tops do come off; allowing for easier transport and installation. Note that there is some wear and imperfections to the painted finish on the bases. This pair of gold sunburst & antiqued mirror top drum tables will make a beautiful statement floated as matching side tables within a living area. See less
