This ancient Silver Hemi-drachm is 13 mm wide, and weighs 1.53 grams without the 18 karat gold trim. There is a fabulous decorative flat trim with orbs evenly spaced about the perimeter of the coin; giving the Griffin a truly spectacular framing. On the obverse side, is a Griffin seated and facing the right, with its left forepaw raised. On the reverse side, is "THI - [Ε]ΥΔ-HMO[Σ]" of Kantharos. There is a small dig on the reverse side, otherwise, this coin is considered "Very Fine". This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
