The Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco) was founded in 1890. They were best known for molded wood pulp interior decorations that rezembles hand-carving. Later they integrated polymers into rhe molding proces and then moved entirely into plastics production.
This still life wall sculpture is a later production dating from 1971. It depicts musical instruments such aa a lyre and a mandolin resting on a round gilded tray and surrounded by sheet music, a vase with flowers and a basket of fruits.
Large wall hanging in gold, white and some brown.
