An exceptional rarely seen mid century brass bench attributed to Gio Ponti featuring captain's ship wheel backs. With original leather seating, this piece is stamped on the underside "Made in Italy" and is attributed to be Gio Ponti's design, imported by American furniture company Sherrill Furniture.
The bench is in overall excellent condition for its age, with some slight signs of wear and patina appropriate with age.
