Solid walnut dressing table in the Louis XVI style. Large mirror rounded in the upper corners, beveled. Surrounded by two storage units: 1 cupboard and 1 drawer, topped with marble. Doors with bronze pendant handles in the shape of a laurel wreath. Adjustable shelves on racks, dovetail-mounted drawers, bronze knob. Polished marble tops, smooth and shiny, in shades of pink and garnet. All in solid blond walnut, discreet carvings in the mass, flowers and pearls. Good stability, 8 legs in total. Furniture with lovely rounded curves, 1950s, Art Nouveau style. Dressing table fully cleaned and treated. Functional, well-arranged furniture, smooth opening and closing. Mirror 84x40 cm.
Beautiful piece of furniture from a mid-20th century house in a small town in the south of France. Beautiful quality of workmanship.
