Originating in the 1960s, well made, very good quality, the set including the matching stand, shovel, brush, and iron ended poker, realized in lustrous polished chrome with fabulous translucent Lucite handles cut at a bias.

The stand features a circular base and a circular tier with cutout indentations for holding each tool, pierced through the centre with a cylindrical chrome rod surmounted with the same matching Lucite handle that's fitted on each piece. This is not only an incredibly utilitarian fireplace tool set, but an exceptional example of clean contemporary design. It would be a superb addition to any style of interior from Classic Modernist, Art Deco Moderne, Hollywood Regency Glam to contemporary.

Very good vintage condition. Strong and sturdy. May have age appropriate wear including the end of the shovel handle having minor inclusions. Functional, decorative, and present splendidly.
