Hand crafted and painted, rich polychrome decoration with natural bird motif, circular in shape, having a deep well with center, large half-circle cut out in the wide shell-patterned rim, rising on circular foot, signed, marked A.S. underfoot. A wonderful display piece, having two later drilled holes for quick and easy wall hanging.

Great condition, beautiful original patina over the whole. The charming antique, circa 1770, would make a wonderful addition to many of today's interior styles, adding interesting and unique antique character, historical depth and a comfortable warmth to Hacienda, farmhouse rustic, country cottage, to old world Mediterranean and many more.
