Fantastic, very large (16") antique Bordallo Pinheiro platter in the shape of a fish dating to the early 20th century. The detail is amazing and he has so much personality! It has the impressed maker's marks on the underside.
In good/very good condition, with some crazing visible on the underside. Also, there's a small chip on the underside of the dorsal fin (not visible from the front) and a small abrasion on the tip of the tail fin. The glaze is bright and glossy and he displays very well.
