It has two drawers that both open easily, and are held together with dovetail pegs. The chest looks to be all original and never restored, showing light signs of use but still in amazing shape for its age. The handles all match and look to be the originals. The front is beautifully hand carved with alot of detail that flows well onto the sides on the top and bottom. Very nicely sized piece that would match a variety of decor styles.
