This Art Deco period bronze bowl was made
In the 30’s
Signed on the base Carl Sorenson, Bronze see photos
He was born in Denmark and arrived in the US in 1928
In 1933 his bronze vessels appeared in a WPA sponsored exhibition alongside works from the New York Society of Craftsmen
His style is a blend of Arts & Crafts and Art Deco
The verdigris finish is original
