delivered signed and numbered on an additional white photo-paper border (about 5 cm wide). It comes with a certificate of authenticity and a separate signed label to stick on the back when mounted.

artist statement: 
in this series, i explore the swedish islandscape from above. Flying in a small  i encountered patterns invisible from the ground — rooftops glimmering like mosaics across the islands, merging with rock and sea. The images often capture the three primary colors of the rgb color model: the warm red-orange of roofs, the green of meadows, and the deep blue of surrounding waters. Together they form a visual rhythm that reveals the subtle interplay between human settlement and the elemental landscape.

since 2010, bernhard lang has captured the earth's surface in his photo series "aerial views". To take these pictures from the heavens, lang takes off in helicopters and small aircrafts.
