A 1989 lithograph print by the American artist Jerome Witkin (born 1939). Titled "Mr. Ribb," this print depicts the skull and upper portion of a display skeleton with shelf with various contents depicted in the background. Signed, dated, and numbered 65/146 to the lower edge, the print is displayed in a silver tone metal frame and a white mat. This print was the 1990 Presentation Print of The Print Club of Rochester.
Born in Brooklyn, Witkin earned his undergraduate degree from Cooper Union School of Art and his master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He taught at Syracuse University and his works are included in the collections of Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Hirshorn Museum in Washington D.C., among others.
