Crafted in Italy during the Urbano Zaccagnini period (circa 1937–1958), it reflects both equestrian elegance and timeless modern design.

Perfectly sized to display as a centerpiece, on a mantel, console table, or shelf, this figure features decorative crazing from the original glaze process and brown unglazed accents that enhance its visual depth.

Marked on the underside with a capital “Z” crossed by a squiggly line—a hallmark used between 1937 and 1958—the piece honors Urbano’s father, Ugo Zaccagnini, founder of Manifattura Ugo Zaccagnini e Figli. The squiggly line is said to represent Monte Oliveto, a view from Urbano’s Tuscany office window.
