It is lovely, but what is a Patty Pan?
Patty Pans are still used today to bake single serving sweet or savory delights, but the pans are generally utilitarian & only seen in kitchen.
When the Lady Rothschild pattern was created, Patty Pans like this rare example, would be served at table.
Each guest would receive an individual tartlet in delightful decorative Patty Pans.
This Rare Herend lidded & handled patty pan is a beautiful object to be admired in its own right & enjoyed however you wish!
