The enameled and golden … Read more Standing at just 6 inches, these Bohemian vases are diminutive in size, but big on drama! The enameled and golden details are breathtaking and offer so much visual appeal. The gold leaves and the two bands around each vase have small granules embedded in them, a technique I have never seen before. I photographed them on a sunny day, producing a shimmering display of red and gold. Some of the gilding is worn in places, and there is a very small chip on the rim of one vase. You have to look very carefully to see it. Otherwise, this pair is in wonderful antique condition. There is no signature on these vases to indicate the manufacturer. Picture 14 shows the vases turned upside down. The quality rivals that of Moser glassware produced in the late 19th Century.

I photographed these vases outside on a sunny day. The colors will most certainly look darker in an interior setting under artificial light. Please take this into consideration when coordinating color schemes.
