A large and striking free-form stoneware vase, stamped A.R., from Vallauris, circa 1970s. This sculpted ceramic piece showcases subtle neutral brown hues with undertones of gold and silver, reminiscent of Japanese “sho” (hovering) techniques.

The surface treatment and form highlight the expressive experimentation for which Vallauris ceramics are renowned.
