This is a very beautiful Chinese wedding box with 3 tiers for storage. I believe it's from the late 19th century. The carved wood trim and etched brass is beautifully intricate and detailed. It's a definite conversations piece.

The brass is patinaed and hasn't been polished. There are some nicks and flea bites to the wood here and there and in some spots where it looks like the dark varnish has worn off. less
