This is a rare Arts and Crafts style, 2 handled vase made by Eljer Pottery in Ford City, PA in the 1920’s.
As written by California Historical Design, “Eljer was a manufacturer of porcelain sinks and toilets. At some point they experimented with a line of Art Pottery vases. Approximately only 50 to 100 pieces of Art Pottery were produced.”
The vase features a crystalline blue glaze which has a slightly iridescent quality to it. It is clearly stamped on the bottom.
The vase is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips. It is approximately 4” in diameter and 9” tall. It weighs 1 1/2lbs.
