Solid back, slightly curved armrests and hinged bench seat revealing interior storage. Note on interior of bench painted names and date of 1938, indicating this may have been a wedding or dowry present at the time it was commissioned.
Restored, cleaned and waxed, this bench is ready to use and enjoy.
All nicks, scratches, dings, cracks, age related separation (see interior bottom) are signs of generations of use and do not detract from the function of this bench. Typical wear to finish reveals pine wood below.
