It has twelve sides, each arch covering two sides of the vase. This piece is a true antique, dating to the 1880's, and was produced in what was then known as Czechoslovakia. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The gold decoration is worn in places, and there are some scratches on the bottom of the vase (refer to picture 15). The first four pictures show four different views of the vase, so you're actually seeing all six of the arches that encircle it. This vase is not signed to indicate the manufacturer, but it has all the characteristics of a Moser piece.

I photographed this vase outside on a sunny day, revealing the intensity of the dark red glass. When viewed inside a room under artificial light, the colors will definitely appear darker than in my photographs. Please take this into consideration when coordinating this vase with other pieces in your decor.
