This is a First Edition, early printing of "Ben-Hur" by Lee Wallace. The 560-pg hardcover was published in 1880 by Harper & Brothers, Franklin Square. This popular, best-selling book on Christianity was made into several films, including the 1959 Charlton Heston blockbuster movie.
Themes in the book include Redemption and Forgiveness, and also Love, Faith and Transformation.: In the novel, Ben-Hur’s journey from vengeance to spiritual peace is said to evoke the teachings of Christ.
