Seaver skillfully contrasts the ivory, blue and deep pink tones of her glazes with areas of transparent glaze which reveal the lovely, ruddy color of the clay. Seaver is probably best known for her designs for the Cowan Studios, which also commissioned designs from Waylande Gregory, Viktor Schreckengost, and other great sculptors of the day. See less
