This is a pair of glass sculpture oil lamps created by Marius Rynkiewicz in Poland in the Mid to Late 20th Century. This artist is known for his masterful technical skill in glassblowing and focus on color creating unique, whimsical shapes and designs.
This original decorative oil lamp features a jellyfish inspired design with hues of orange, yellow, blue, green and red in a bulbous shape sits atop an elegant black organically shaped metal base.
Both lamps are affixed with the name of the artist and provenance of where it was made.
Each lamp is 9” inches tall with a base measuring 3 1/4” inches. The globes themselves are approximately 4” inches round.
These lamps truly shine as functional artwork deserving their own special setting on bedside tables or perhaps on each end of a mantelpiece.
