This Vintage Baker Furniture Collector’s Edition Campaign Style Leather Top Desk epitomizes refined furnishings and has a commanding presence with elegant detailing that will well suit an executive office, upscale home library or even occupy a space in a luxurious master suite.
Solid wood construction of bookmatched mahogany veneer with contrasting inlays
Rectangular top with a tooled leather (three inset leather panels) writing surface, bordered with an ornate gilt Greek key and scroll motif
Brass campaign-style hardware and corner mounts
Nine graduated drawers (four on each pedestal and one central) with fitted locks and key and decorative tassell
Good vintage condition and structurally sound - wood surface bears scattered surface scratches and small finish losses. Inlays and edges show age-consistent wear, and leather top is properly worn with fading, scratches, ink marks and impressions consistent with age.
Brass hardware shows some tarnishing, scuffs, and small dents - all consistent with age
Trim is brass plated and shows some wear in areas.
Feet are structurally sound but display finish wear as shown in close-up images.
