This Early 20th Century Galliy Bassani French Rococo/ Louis XV Style Marble-Top Commode,crafted in Buenos Aires is a luxurious piece and grand expression in elite frech furnishing design that is a magnificent statement piece for many upscale interiors.
Solid wood construction crowned with a serpentine-shaped marble top
Rococo revival aesthetic with serpentine drawer fronts and hand-carved ornamentation, including flowing scrollwork, roaile motifs, and floral embellishments
Hand-carved cabriole legs with whorled feet
Dove-tailed drawers with paneled sides feature gilt-bronzed handles and escutcheons, with a tassel-accented key included for the central drawer

Includes maker's brass label inside drawer
Good condition and structurally sound with age-consistent wear - marble top shows wear at edges with some chiping to one rear corner. Wood surface punctuated by age-consistent scuffs, scratches, and minor age cracks, particularly to the carved feet and apron.
Bronzed hardware shows age-consistent oxidation.
