A beautiful pair of colorful cloisonne ginger jars, circa mid 20th century, China. Made of cloisonne enamel on brass, featuring intricate floral and foliage motif with a vibrant burgundy background. Flowers are decorated on all the sides, showcasing blue and yellow hues. A blue geometrical design adorns the lower portion of the jars. Piece can be used as paper weight, decorative object, or for storing. Ginger jars can be featured on a credenza, entryway area, or an office. Jars can also be used as vases for showcasing homemade flower arrangements, or as cache pots/jardinieres. Chinoiserie detailing in brass and burgundy decorate the exterior. Jars have brass rim accent that complements the blue enamel interior. On the underside, it is glazed in the same bright blue.
